Quite unique this one... On Filthy Few, the home of the ace podcasts and many a fine London night, comes their debut artist release. Their Myspace describes them as Tropical / Concrete / Melodramatic Popular Song, and for once it isn't a shit indie band 'hilariously' describing themselves as Chinese Pop. This is Tropical, with all sorts of oddball horns and wierdo percussion, this is Concrete - all dirty, claustrophobic sounds that sound like losing the plot on in a car park warehouse party on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, and as for Melodramatic Popular Song - well, listen to it! It could be from a future state broadcast of an oddball futuristic nation! Truly wonderfully odd and oddly wonderful.
